Minnesota Public Radio presents the YourClassical Class Notes Community Concert Spring series.  Class Notes Concerts serves students throughout Minnesota by performing live-in, school concerts. Class Notes Community Concerts are free, in-person concerts performed by Minnesota-based artists in Minnesota communities. In the 24-25 school year, Class Notes will expand Community Concert offerings with a fall and a spring series. For more information: www.classnotes.org

The Paper Clips’ performances showcase the history and cultural impact of the Motown Records label. They combine the soulful melodies and exciting rhythms of 1960’s classic Motown with the power of a trombone quartet to connect to the roots in Black American music and popular music styles of the 20th Century.

These activities are made possible in part by the Minnesota Legacy Amendment’s Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund. Lauren Husting is a fiscal year 2024 recipient of a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board. The Paper Clips concerts are made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
