Calling all music fans between the ages of 15 and 24! Get ready to dive into the future of sound with Counterpoint, a DJing 101 workshop from YourClassical MPR. Join renowned DJs Anthony Kasper and Mickey Breeze as they show you how to mix classical music with today’s hottest beats.

More Event Details – What to bring

Students are invited to bring their own computers. DJs will lead students in downloading free DJing software (Serato). A curated selection of Classical and dance music will be made available for students to use in mixing music via flash drives and Cloud. Plus a few computers and four to five DJ controllers will be available for students to play with for free.
